The 10-Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness and Reduce Homelessness in the Cape Fear Region is a long-range, comprehensive plan to help both chronically homeless and non-chronic homeless people return to healthy and stable lives in permanent housing.
Launched in 2008, the Plan is focusing on two major goals:
Goal 1: Provide prevention and supportive services to prevent
persons from becoming homeless and enable those who are
homeless to move into and remain in a stable housing
situation and maximize their self-sufficiency.
Goal 2: Provide permanent housing for homeless individuals
and families
